This is our newly designed FMIC kit for the 90-94 DSM.
Well the time came to make a change... a change for the better.
We have been having a rather large demand and alot of interest on a
different, larger intercooler like our Evo Race core. We answered the
call and came up with the new design and our new kit.
This will be the ONLY FMIC kit that we will offer for the 1G
from now on. Since both of the kits before required trimming of the
front bumper we figured there really is no sense to offer 2 kits when
we can offer 1 that will work on small turbo cars or large turbo cars.
It allows you to upgrade turbo's later on without buying a new FMIC.
The new core measures in at 24" x 13" x 4".This is the same
FMIC core that is ran on our 8sec. Evo, David's 9sec. daily driven Evo
and all of the other FAST Evo's that come out of here. It is good for
900+WHP.
Unlike many offerings out there, this kit is complete and
includes the following: Core, polished 2.5" stainless intercooler
plumbing, polished stainless t-bolt clamps, all couplings, 2.5"
aluminum throttle body elbow, mounting bolts, gaskets, aftermarket
overflow bottle, and high performance 12" Spal fan w/mounting brackets.
We pioneered this combination which is the evolution of over a decade
of research, testing, and racing. There are mediocre copies of our
combination out there but imitations can be deceiving and lack quality
in workmanship, materials, and design. If you don't want to spend time
and money piecing your front mount assembly together, then this kit
would be your best choice.
The front bumper is going to need to be cut and modified as well. |
