Carbotech AX6 Rear Brake Pads- 2G DSM Eclipse Turbo 2WD/4WD

The AX6� is specifically engineered for Autocross applications. A high torque brake compound delivering reliable and consistent performance over a very wide operating temperature range of 50�F to 1000�F + (10�C to 537�C+). The advanced compound matrix provides an excellent initial bite, high coefficient of friction at lower temperatures along with very progressive brake modulation and release characteristics. Many drivers use the AX6� for street driving as well, even though Carbotech� doesn't recommend street driving with AX6� due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. AX6� is NOT recommended as a race compound in most applications.

On 4/6/05 I placed an order for front and rear Akebono brake pads for my '97 Spyder GST. As of 4/15/05 I had not received my package or a tracking number and called to inquire about my order. I was informed that they had been back ordered from the manufacturer and would be shipped out today (4/15/05). They expected a delivery date of 4/19/05. Needless to say, I was not happy. I was suprised when they offered to overnight my package for a Saturday delivery! I understand problems like these occur but it is highly unusual to find a company that it willing to break even, or even loose money on a purchase to keep a customer happy. Wow, talk about customer service! I will definately recommend DSMParts.com to my fellow DSM'rs.
